Did you know that all funds raised the day of the Sale are forwarded to Mennonite Central Committee for its relief, development and peacebuilding work locally and internationally?
This is possible because over 2,000 people volunteer their time and talent to make the Sale happen and because all merchandise and many services for the Sale are donated.
In addition, several fund-raisers are held every Spring to raise money to cover approximaltely $50,000 in operating expenses. The largest fundraising dinner is held at Bingeman Park in Kitchener in early April. Over 800 people attend and enjoy the meal, fellowship and a presentation about MCC's work. |
